GreenServe Grounds Maintenance is Growing – Join Our Team
As GreenServe Grounds Maintenance continues to expand across Sussex, we are pleased to announce that we are recruiting for a new Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team based in Patching, Worthing.
Over the years, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services to commercial properties, housing developments, public open spaces, and private clients throughout the region. With continued growth and increasing demand for our services, we are now looking for a motivated individual to help support our operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining green spaces, and wants to be part of a friendly and professional team.
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of grounds maintenance activities, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, border maintenance, leaf clearance, litter picking, seasonal gritting, and occasional soft landscaping works such as turfing and planting. The role also involves operating a range of horticultural equipment, including pedestrian mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters.
We are keen to hear from individuals who have experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture, agriculture, construction, or other practical outdoor roles. Above all, we are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining the high standards that our clients expect.
The position offers full-time hours, competitive pay, a company pension scheme, free parking, an additional day’s holiday on your birthday, and a four-day working week during the winter months.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience using grounds maintenance or horticultural equipment
- Good practical skills and a strong work ethic
- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
- Own transport to travel to our yard in Patching
Additional qualifications such as PA1/PA6 spraying certificates, towing experience, and plant knowledge would be beneficial but are not essential.
At GreenServe, we believe our people are the key to our success. We are committed to providing a supportive working environment where team members can develop their skills and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
If you are looking for a rewarding outdoor role with a growing local company, we would love to hear from you.
